License Negotiations
Negotiations is where you and an actor — or their agency — settle the terms for using their likeness and voice. It keeps every offer, counter-offer and agreed deal in one thread, so both sides always know where things stand.
Making an offer
Section titled “Making an offer”Send an offer that sets out the rights you want, the project it’s for, the duration and any fee. The actor or their representative reviews it and responds in the same place.
Offers and counter-offers
Section titled “Offers and counter-offers”- The other side can accept, decline or send a counter-offer.
- Each round is recorded, so you can see how the terms have changed.
- Continue until both sides are happy with the deal.
Reaching agreement
Section titled “Reaching agreement”Once terms are agreed, formalise them in contracts and the resulting permissions appear in your licensing.
