Studio Licensing
Licensing is where you manage the rights you hold to actors’ likeness and voice. Each licence records what an actor has agreed to, for which production, and for how long — so you always have a clear, verifiable record of your permissions.
What a licence covers
Section titled “What a licence covers”- Coverage — the likeness and voice rights granted, and the project they apply to.
- Terms — the scope, duration and any conditions the actor has set.
- Status — whether a licence is active, pending agreement or expired.
Managing licences
Section titled “Managing licences”- Review every licence you hold in one place, grouped by project where helpful.
- Watch for licences approaching their end date and arrange renewals in good time.
- Open a licence to see exactly what was agreed and confirm it against the actor’s consent.
Agreeing new licences
