Getting started

This guide takes you from creating an account to a live, discoverable presence on Truly Imagined. It’s written for actors, but agents, studios and casting directors follow the same first few steps.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email. You’ll verify your address and choose your role (Actor, Agent, Studio or Casting Director). Your role determines which areas of the dashboard you see.

2. Establish your verified identity

Actors complete a short identity registration so the platform can issue you a verifiable credential — the cryptographic proof that a licensed likeness or voice is genuinely yours. See My Identity and the verifiable identity concept.

3. Set your consent preferences

Decide, up front, how your digital likeness and voice may be used. These consent preferences are applied automatically to every licensing request, so you’re never surprised.

4. Build your profile

Add headshots, a showreel, attributes, skills and credits on your profile. This is what casting directors and studios see, so a complete, current profile gets you discovered.

5. Go live and get discovered

Once your identity is verified and your profile is complete, you appear in the Marketplace. Incoming licensing requests and bookings arrive in your dashboard, and your earnings are tracked automatically.

Finding your way around

• The sidebar on the left groups everything by area. A NEW tag marks pages you haven’t opened yet — it clears the first time you visit.
• Each page has a ? beside its title with a short summary and a link back to these docs.
• The first time you open a page, a short guided tour points out its key features. You can replay it any time from the ?.
