Versions & the vault

Nothing you make in the Studio is thrown away. Editing is non-destructive and every render creates a new asset, so you always have a full history to fall back on.

Versions

Related takes of the same thing share a version group. A version is created whenever you:

Save as New — branch a variant of an asset without spending tokens (it copies, it doesn’t regenerate).
Render a composition — the output is a new version of that composition’s result.

Open an asset to see its version history — every variant and render in the group, oldest first — so you can compare takes and pick the one to promote.

The Media Vault

Every generated and rendered asset is filed automatically in your Media Vault, inside the project’s folder. That means your finished work sits alongside your other media, ready to share, download or attach — no manual export step.

Your model-building data is filed too: capture-kit takes and expression photos land in a dedicated My AI Model Data folder. When adding reference material you can record it live, upload a file from your device, or choose an existing file from your Vault — so a headshot or reel you’ve already uploaded can be reused without re-recording. Development vs production

Assets start in development: watermarked and inexpensive, for iterating freely. When a take is final, promote it to production. Promotion applies the full token charge and re-checks consent, so only compliant, finished work becomes a production asset.

Duplicate vs render

Save as New / Duplicate copies an existing asset — instant, no token cost, no GPU.
Render produces a new asset from a composition — this is where trims, mixes and scenes are baked in.
